Solar Repair & Troubleshooting in Los Angeles

We service systems we did not sell.

A lot of California solar was installed by companies that no longer exist. If your production dropped, your monitoring went dark, or your inverter is throwing a fault, we will diagnose it regardless of who put it up.

Why did my solar production drop?

How we approach it

01

Orphaned systems welcome

Bankruptcies and roll-ups left thousands of Southern California homeowners with no one to call. We take those jobs.

02

Real diagnosis before a quote

We read the inverter logs and the production history first. Replacing hardware that was never the problem is the most common thing we get called in to undo.

03

Inverter replacement and upgrades

String inverters typically need replacement around year twelve to fifteen. Microinverters fail one at a time. Both are routine work for us.

04

Monitoring brought back online

Half the systems we look at have been offline for years and nobody noticed. Restoring visibility is often the cheapest fix available.

Questions

Repair, answered

My solar company went out of business. Can you still help?

Yes. This is a large share of our service work. We can take over maintenance, restore monitoring, and handle warranty claims directly with the panel or inverter manufacturer, since those warranties usually survive the installer.

Why is my production lower than it used to be?

The usual causes, in rough order of frequency: soiling and dust, a failed or offline inverter, shading from trees that have grown, a tripped rapid-shutdown device, or individual module degradation. Only the last one is expensive, and it is the least common.

Do you charge for a diagnostic visit?

We charge a flat diagnostic fee that is credited toward the repair if you go ahead with it. That keeps the incentive on finding the actual fault rather than selling parts.
